Director of Network Operations, SBA Communications
Evelyn Clough is currently the Director of Network Operations for SBA Communications. She has a wealth of telecom senior leadership experience in several Fortune 500 companies and across various business sectors – including network engineering, network operations, network construction, workforce operations, and customer operations. Before joining SBA, she led large technical, operations, and customer-facing teams at Comcast, Time Warner Cable (Spectrum), Sprint, American Tower, Windstream, and most recently as Vice President of Network Business Transformation at Ericsson. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a particular talent in mentoring and developing technical leaders both formally and informally. Evelyn has excellent people skills and technical expertise in Managed Services, Federal Security Operations, Wireless Networks, Data Networks, Field Operations, Workforce Operations, and Network Security.
Evelyn is a big advocate of DEI. She co-founded and co-chaired the largest Employee Resource Group at Ericsson, The Asian Connection (ACE). This was during a period when there were increasing incidents of Asian hate crimes. She has spoken at many conferences about DEI and have collaborated with many technology companies on how to run a successful ERG and BRG. She also served as a mentor for prospective MBA graduates at University of TX, Dallas.
Evelyn is a graduate of the University of the East with a B.S. in Electronics & Communications Engineering. She has also successfully completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Penn Wharton School of Business. Evelyn is a certified professional engineer and has served as an active member of WICT (Women in Cable and Telecom) as well as on the Board of Directors for NAMIC (National Multi-Ethnic in Communications) in the Washington DC Region.
In her spare time, Evelyn plays golf with her husband Dwight, and two daughters: Katherine, who is majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Central Florida and Lyndsie, who is majoring in Forensic Science at the University of Vermont.
